May's Juniors Come From Behind to Win in Thrilling Fashion

North Haven Jamboree
 The Senior Sinapis team started out playing Cheshire's Black team, and then followed with North Branford, East Haven and finished with Cheshire's White team. Coach May's Junior team started their day with a rematch with the North Haven team they played last Saturday in North Branford. The teams remained about even. Next up was an East Haven team which looked overmatched by the running of Chris Rice and Justin Blood. Third up was a very confident Cheshire team that saw their 2-0 TD lead disintegrate at the end on 3 very quick TDs from the Rice/Blood combo. For their final matchup, May's Juniors faced a second East Haven which didn't appear as good as the first, but there was one rather large running back that had several long runs at the end.  There are pictures here at this site.

Junior May About Even With North Branford
 An exciting night saw the May Junior Hornets battle North Branford up and down the gridiron. Each team had its moments, but in the end they appeared about even strength. A real game between these two teams certainly would be exciting to watch. I added pictures to the match from Tuesday here: picture gallery.

Junior May Team Handles North Haven
 After Milford backed out of Saturday's scrimmage, Coach May took his Junior team over to North Branford and took on North Haven in a scrimmage. The May Team offense worked North Haven over for a pair of TDs on the ground highlighted by the running of Justin Blood, Chase Swift and Jake Crouch. The defense shut down the Indian offense, and prevented a late score on a big goal line stand. Pictures have been added to Thursday's picture gallery.
